75. Small Copper "The Small Copper butterfly frequents the heathers and grasses of heathland. When it opens its wings, the deep orange contrasts beautifully with the browns, greens and purple of the vegetation. To capture the jewel-like colour I have printed the background traditionally, but hand-painted the butterfly in watercolour."
